Their low-calorie nature, along with high water volume, can help promote satiety and assist in weight management,” Davis remarks.

Rouse emphasizes that it is not only safe but also adds, “Including a cucumber in your daily meals can help you achieve the USDA’s recommendation of five to nine servings of fruits and vegetables each day. Many individuals fall short of their vegetable intake, so adding a cucumber to your routine is an easy and delicious way to enhance your consumption.”

    Davis concurs, stating, “Given cucumbers are primarily water and deliver small amounts of various vitamins and minerals, it is both safe and healthful to eat a cucumber each day.” However, she cautions that cucumbers contain about half of the recommended daily intake of vitamin K, which can influence blood clotting—therefore, individuals on blood thinners, such as warfarin, should consult their healthcare provider before increasing their cucumber consumption.
